Longboarding – Dead For the Last Time

April 20, 2012 in longboarding videos

Old Man Farly is out for blood, the Paskapoo kid is on the run. What’s going to happen? I had fun letting the inner filmmaker out and it was refreshing. Focusing more on shooting a mini movie with a story / narration. Tis good for me to mix it up now and then and challenge myself. I hope you all can appreciate this for the story, filming/editing, if not then try watching it with your eyes closed, hahah and visualize gnarly 100mph slides. It was a blast to film and I learned a bunch. Yes, we used a revolver that ejects cases, hahaha. LongTreks Morocco – Episode 7: Gorge Du Dades

April 10, 2012 in longboarding videos

Last episode, the crew journeyed into the Saharan dunes for a romantic evening with camels and two days lathered in sunscreen. A three day break altogether from skating makes them eager to get back on the road, starting from Ourzazate, traveling east through Valee Du Dades, coincidentally for the Festival of the Roses in El Kelaa M’gouna. Passing off the festival and opting to skate the Gorge du Dades, one of the most radical designs in roadwork, the Long Treks team skates into the massive Gorge. Unfortunately, Adam is the last of the three to be struck with a powerful and tormenting stomach flu. Need not to go into detail, Aaron and Paul enjoy a day of skating switchback after switchback in the famous Moroccan Gorge.

Longboarding: Footbrake FOR Life

March 13, 2012 in longboarding videos

Footbraking is making a comeback, baby! We hope you all get some good laughs from this video, because we sure had fun making it. All references to individuals, companies or concepts, real or imagined are actually just imagined. This video is not intended to bash footbraking (or anyone else) in any way at all; it is just a comedic approach to showcasing it and a chance to lovingly satirize the stereotypical, ultra-serious “extremely extreme” mentality. We at Loaded believe footbraking is very important; it’s an indispensable skill that every skater (especially downhillers and city commuters) should be comfortable with. Footbrake for life. Big thanks to Jonathan Jelkin for all the graphic work, color correction, and music edits; he nailed it. Super stoked on this vision; had this idea floating in my head for over a year and finally busted it out. We shall be embracing more humor this year in our videos, and it was a refreshing break and challenge to make a video like this with dialogue and an empowering theme. Longboarding: Propeller.

Video from Loaded Longboards on YouTube

I bet you want to see cool tricks on a longboard. I bet your looking for dope music to longboard to. Wanna start spinning? Doin your tiger claw? Get some bounce on your board? Hell yes you do. That’s what longboardings all about. You start off, you have fun and then you just want to start doing it more and more. Pretty soon, you’re selling your house for 10 new longboards that you cant even ride, unless you stack them together and do it like a London bus. I don’t have a Loaded Longboard but I sure as sugar (lol, trying to keep the language kid appropriate) want to get one ASAP. It’s fall over here in Michigan, which to me, means MORE longboarding. Everything looks so beautiful and I want to hit the slopes (for freeee, because its a Longboard remember! :) )

Live vicariously through his sick boarding spots, or get out there and bomb some hills and master your skate tricks.

“Excerpt from the more info page:

by Adam Stokowski

I recently had the opportunity to go to California and hang out with everyone at the Loaded office and some other fun people. Big thanks to Don and everyone at Loaded; it was a super awesome time. While I was there, Adam C. filmed a little video of me ridding the Tan Tien called Propeller; thanks again to Don for the name. We pretty much just skated around the Venice Beach area looking for things to mess around with and tried to avoid backpack-eating dragons who eventually caught up to us. It’s just a fun little video playing with the surroundings. Adam C. did an amazing job with the filming, lots of depth of field and some smooth camera movements. Big thanks to Adam C. for filming, editing, and letting a smelly Virginian sleep on his floor with a sweatshirt stuffed in a bag for a pillow. I got to go make sure my potatoes aren’t boiling over. Catch y’all next time.

Longboarding: Let’s Go Already!

February 11, 2010 in Longboarding, Media

This got directed this way from Andrei and Adam Colton and I love it.

I love longboarding videos. The music. The mood. The visuals. There is always extremely perfect fitting music to go with stunning visuals. Whether its beautiful mountains or hard hitting tricks in a downtown area it never seizes to amaze me how great this little community is. We love what we do, and we do what we love yknow and what better a life lesson that that. This video has good sound effect timing too.

“Kyle Chin skates from top to bottom down a beautiful hill in Outerspace. Wanted to capture a bit of freeriding, DH, slow motion and scenery. Shot with a Canon 7D, LENS Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 and Sigma 70mm f2.8. This video captures the beauty of riding. “
